Web Design

The term ‘web designer’ can be a misleading one. The role our in-house designers carry out includes:

  • Research of existing online content and identifying room for improvement
  • Developing an ‘Information Architecture’. A bit jargony we know – better described as ordering information so it is simple and intuitive. Your customers ‘get’ the most important messages without having to work for it
  • Combing through content and identifying what will work well and what will not.
  • Taking information that works well offline or in traditional media and re-purposing so it works on the web
  • Advising on and implementing ‘web MI’ and identifying the crucial key things a company should be looking for to indicate their customers online experience is a good one
  • Identifying how a website is to be updated. The CMS (Content Management System) that site behind the scenes and allows a company to take control of their content
  • Populating the end result into an attractive, eye catching website design tailored to your needs, that is consistent with offline material style and timings and most importantly is enjoyable and easy for the customer (or potential customer) to use
  • They then write the code that drives all the above in such a way that it is accessible for all and works well with search engines like Google.

You’ll notice that the word “Design” was used once in that summary!

We’re based in Bristol in South West  England and we have provided attractive, engaging and successful websites across the UK and beyond.

Most importantly we don’t believe in stock templates or a ‘one size fits all’ approach and aim to take you through the entire design journey from discussing your personal, business or organisational aspirations face to face.
